In recent years, due to our prominent reputation in the hospitality industry, we have lost some of our historic balance between public and private work. We have committed ourselves to regaining that balance, particularly in the federal construction arena. Martin & Associates of Nevada Federal is committed to providing high quality civil and structural design, project management, and construction support from our centrally located Las Vegas offices for military bases in Nevada, California, and Arizona. Strategic alliances with the other Martin Engineering Offices located throughout the southwestern United States, Hawaii, and China allow us to supplement our capabilities with eminently qualified engineers in their respective fields, an additional 400 technical personnel, and provide local knowledge and presence for a wide geographic area.

Our firm works most effectively as part of a cohesive team committed to developing specialized or cost effective projects on a fast track basis. Effective project teams include an active owner’s representative, a contractor, an architect, and engineering and specialty consultants. These teams allow for a very effective communication of project criteria between the owner and the designers, schedule and constructability considerations between the designers and the contractor, and cost and program priorities between the contractor and owner. In fact, the key elements of what the AIA is now calling “Integrated Design” has long been standard business practice in our office. We believe the expertise and sensitivity to owner and contractor needs developed in our private sector work will add tremendous value to federal sector projects.
